We know that the inner transition elements are the elements present in the f-block of the periodic table.
In the seventh Period there exist a total of 14 elements which are Th, Pa, U, No, Pu, Am, Cm, Bk, Cf, Es, Fm, Md, No and Lr.

Periodic tables classify the elements on the basis of the modern periodic law i.e. the elements are arranged in the increasing order of their atomic numbers. The elements are grouped into s-block, p-block, d-block and f-block.
In the f-block are the inner transition metals are placed at the bottom of the Periodic Table.
