Complete Answer:
Sivasamudram fall is a 300ft tall fall in the district of Chamarajanagar in the state of Karnataka.
Let us look at the options given to us

Option A- Cauvery or Kaveri is a 750km long river that flows through the state of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Rising in Coorg district of Karnataka, the river flows through Mysore forming two islands-Srirangapatna and Shivanasamudra. At Sivasamudram the river drops 98m forming the Sivasamudram falls. It is a segmented but perennial waterfall .
It is the site of first hydroelectric power station in India built under the guidance of Diwan of Mysore Sir K. Seshadri Iyer in 1902.

Option B- Subarnarekha river flows through West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand. It creates the Hundru waterfall in Ranchi district of Jharkhand. It is almost as tall as the Sivasamudram falls.

Option C- Indravati river is a tributary of the Godavari river and flows through the states of Odisha , Chhattisgarh , Maharashtra and Telangana. It forms the Chitrakote waterfalls in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. It has a height of 29m and is the widest fall in India.

Therefore the correct answer is option (A).
