Hint: The place where all these rivers join the Indus river is located in Pakistan and not in India. Indus river is the most important river of Pakistan as it is a major source for its water resources.

Complete Answer:Just above Mithankot, Pakistan, Indus receives the accumulated water of the five eastern tributaries (also called Panjnad or Panchnad) - Jhelum, Sutlej, Chenab, Ravi and Beas. The Indus river is a West flowing river which drains into the Arabian Sea. India got its name because of the river Indus. Close to Manasarovar lake is the source of the Indus river in the glaciers of Kailash range and its total length is around 2880 km out of which 710 km is present in India.

The successive confluence or merger of the five rivers of Punjab - Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Beas and Sutlej - leads to the creation of the Panjnad river. After the Panjnad river joins the Indus river it is known by the name of Satnad, Sat means seven, which means carrying the waters of seven rivers.

Therefore the correct answer is option A.

Note: There is a very famous water treaty between India and Pakistan known as the Indus Water Treaty and it was brokered by the World Bank and it was signed in the year 1960 in Karachi. According to the treaty the control of the three eastern rivers - Beas, Ravi and Sutlej - will be with India and the control of the three western rivers - Indus, Chenab and Jhelum - will be with Pakistan.
