Hint: By using the place value chart, we can write the number 10 million and then count how many zeroes are placed after 1 so as to get the required answer.
We use “millions” in the international system and not in Indian.

Complete step by step solution:
When a number is written, it has two values namely face value and place value. The face value is the digit and the place value that starts with the units place.
For a number the order of place values starting from the left hand side of a number according to the Indian system is given as:
1 Units
2 Tens
3 Hundreds
4 Thousands
5 Ten thousands
6 Lakhs
7 Ten lakhs
8 Crores
9 Ten crores
In the international system, lakhs is known as hundred thousands, ten lakh as one million and crores as ten millions in the Indian system.
From above, it can be seen that for crores producing ten millions, we require 8 numbers in total.
So, 10 million will have one at its units place and the rest seven places will have zeroes, it is given as:
10,000,000
Thus, it can be said that in 10 million, the number of zeros after 1 are 7.
So, the correct answer is “Option A”.

Note: We can also call the unit’s place value as one’s place value as well.
When we put the commas while writing the value, we always place it from the right hand side or backwards, with the gap of three places. Note that the zeroes placed before any number or at units place has no value. For example:
001 is equal to one while 100 is equal to hundred
