Firstly we need to calculate the atomic mass of \[MgS{O_4}\] .The atomic mass of magnesium is $24$, atomic mass of sulfur is $32$ and atomic mass of oxygen is $16$ since there are four oxygen atoms so the total mass of oxygen will be $64$. In total the atomic mass of magnesium sulphate comes out by adding the individual masses of all the atoms so the atomic mass of magnesium sulphate is \[24 + 32 + 64\], so the mass comes out to be \[120g/mol\]. One mole of magnesium sulphate contains $120g$ , so two moles of magnesium sulphate will be $240g$. Number of moles can be calculated by using the formula given weight of any element or compound divided by the molecular weight of the same element or compound given.
