Hint: If two numbers are given then the product of HCF and LCM of those two numbers is always equal to the product of those two numbers.
Given two numbers are 306, 657.
H.C.F. of these two numbers = 9
We know that,
HCF$ \times $LCM = Product of the two numbers
$ \Rightarrow $ 9$ \times $LCM = 306 $ \times $ 657
LCM = $\dfrac{{306 \times 657}}{9} = 22338$
$\therefore $ LCM of 306 and 657 = 22338
Note:
The least common multiple (LCM) is defined as the smallest number that is a multiple of all numbers from a group of numbers. Example: LCM 10, 15 and 20 is 60.
The highest common factor (HCF) is defined as the largest number that divides evenly into all numbers from a group of numbers. Example: HCF of 4, 6 and 8 is 2.
