Hint: In this particular question use the concept that number line is divided uniformly from (10 to 25)0C so first mark all the temperature of the particular places then subtract these temperatures according to the question so, use this method to reach the answer.

Complete step by step answer:
 As we see from the number line that the hottest place is Meerut and the temperature of Meerut is (250C)
Now the number line is divided uniformly from (10 to 25)0C so, we can say that
The coldest place from the number line is Kashmir and the temperature is ((5+(2))0C)=(70C)
The temperature of Yamuna Nagar is ((15+2)0C)=(170C)
The temperature of Pathankot is ((0+(1))0C)=(10C)
(i) The temperature difference between the hottest place and the coldest place is P.
P=Temperature of hottest place - Temperature of coldest place
P=25(7)=320C
(ii) The temperature difference between Yamuna Nagar and Pathankot is Q.
Q=Temperature of YamunaNagar - Temperature of Pathankot
Q=17(1)=180C
(iii) The temperature difference between Pathankot and Kashmir is R.
R=Temperature of Pathankot - Temperature of Kashmir
Q=1(7)=60C

So, the correct answer is “Option C”.

Note: Whenever we face such types of questions the key concept we have to remember is that always recall that the temperature difference between two places is the difference of temperature of first place to the temperature of second place, so just substitute the values as above we will get the required answer.
