1) The waste produced can be segregated into three types based on the 3R’s which are Recycle, Reuse and Reduce.

As we all know recycle means the waste that can be recycled , for example, paper, plastics. They are pawned off to the radhiwalas and the kabadiwalas. They then recycle them and make more usable items.
And then comes the reuse, which means we should not throw these items as they can be reused. For example, if we throw away plastic bottles even after single use, they add to the increasing pollution due to plastic , because we all know that it is non biodegradable. So the plastic bottle, plastic bags can be reused instead of just throwing them away all the time and buying new every time. This method is cost effective too.
Now about reducing, this means that we should reduce the wastage of paper, reduce the usage of plastic bags, bottles.

2) Another method is to use the kitchen and domestic waste to form manure that provides nourishment to the plants. This serves two purposes, as it also reduces the waste production.
