Energy transformation is that when one form of energy transforms into another, energy is always remaining in a cycle of transformation. Different forms of energy are kinetic energy, potential energy, light energy, heat energy, sound energy, chemical energy, etc.

Complete step by step solution: Various instances of the transformation of energy around us are:

1). When we walk our leg muscle works and we are able to walk because of the energy we take from food in the form of chemical energy which gets converted into kinetic energy when we start walking, same happens when we climb the chemical energy which is present in our body gets converted into potential energy.

2). When we speak the muscles of mouth and tongue work (chemical energy of the food we eat) and get converted into sound energy as our voice comes out of the mouth.

3). In the winter season or during cold we generally rub our palm to feel warm that is because the kinetic energy which is being generated by chemical energy present in our body gets finally converted into heat energy.

4). The phone and laptop we use daily in our life, in both of them the chemical energy of the battery gets firstly converted into electrical energy which runs the phone and then after it gets converted into light energy which helps us to see what we see on the phone’s screen.

5). The rotating fan above us is also an example of energy conversion, in this the electrical energy supplied to it is being converted into kinetic energy of the fan blades which rotates the fan.
