Hint: Sex organs are present in living organisms which undergo sexual mode of reproduction which produces gamete which can determine organisms sexual character as well as its secondary sexual character. Male sex organs produce sperms as male sex gamete and female sex organs produce ovary which is female sex gamete, both of these fuses in the process of Fertilisation.
Complete answer:
i) Male sex organ is located in the pelvis region of Human which includes a pair of testes associated with accessory glands and the external genitalia. Testes are present within the scrotum.
ii) Tests consist of several units which are called testicular lobules which range upto 250 in number.
iii) Each lobule contains three coiled tubules called as seminiferous tubules which consist of germ cells and specialised types of cells called Sertoli cells.
iv) Seminiferous tubules are concerned with the production of male gametes called sperms through a process known as spermatogenesis.
v) Rete testis is one of the male sex accessory duct along with vas efference, vas deferens and epididymis.
vi) Vas deferens act as a tunnel which forms a pathway for sperms to enter the ejaculatory duct during copulation.
Hence the correct answer is option ‘C’.
Note: Seminiferous tubules are considered as structural and functional units as they are not only concerned with production of sperms and also responsible for its nourishment.
