And Mensheviks are a minority faction, headed by Julius Martov and they believed that the party should be open to all.

Complete solution:
There were some steps taken by Bolsheviks to make Russia a Socialist Society:

- Private Banks and Heavy Industries were nationalized.
- Employees and workers were assigned 8 hours to work.
- Passed the proposal to distribute rations approved by the states to labourers and workers.
- Large Places and Houses were confiscated and distributed based on the economic condition of the people.
- A Secret Police (Known as Execution Squad and Check) was formed which acted to suppress dissent and political peoples.
- A process of centralized planning was introduced. Officials assessed how the economy could work and set the targets for a period of 5 Years. Based on this, the 5 Year Plan was made.
- Literature promoting socialism was promoted and American Movies were banned. The communists completely destroyed the Old Russian literature and replaced it with the Marxist literature to build the New Society Person.

Note:
At the time of the revolution in Russia in 1917, the Bolsheviks did not believe that socialism was possible in Russia alone, without a revolution in the more developed areas of Europe, especially Germany. Like orthodox Marxists, they believed that only the proletarian class could create socialism and the working class was a minority in Russia.
