Hint:Both the solar and lunar eclipse is a natural phenomenon and happens due to the motion of the earth around the sun and the moon around the earth. An eclipse happens when a planet or a moon gets in between the Sun’s light. Here on Earth, we can have two kinds of eclipses: solar eclipses and lunar eclipses.

Complete step by step answer:
A solar eclipse takes place when the moon comes in the way of the sun’s light and puts its shadow on Earth. This means during the day; the moon comes in between the path of light which is coming to the earth from the moon. The sun’s total eclipse happens about every year and a half at someplace. A partial eclipse, when the moon does not completely take over the sun, happens at least twice a year somewhere on Earth. So, it happens five to six times during a year. During a lunar eclipse, Earth gets in the way of the sun’s light striking the moon. This means that during the night the earth comes in between the path of light coming from the sun towards the moon. Lunar eclipses are more widely visible because Earth puts a much larger shadow on the Moon during a lunar eclipse than the Moon puts on Earth during a solar eclipse. As a lunar eclipse happens more frequently than a solar eclipse
Thus, in the light of the above knowledge, the given statement is False. Hence, the correct option is (B)

Note: Lunar eclipses can only happen when the Moon is opposite the Sun in the sky. They cannot be seen every month on a full moon day because the orbit of the moon is slightly tilted which prohibits it happening every month.
