Hint: Ever Since the early age man has been using animals to satisfy its own needs. Animals such sheeps, goats, cows and buffaloes have been very useful for humans ever since civilization started.

Complete answer:
Domestication of animals proved to be very helpful for animals as it allowed man to gain more control over his/her food habits. It also provided humans with more food options and resources. Because of domestication of animals humans started giving up hunting and gathering and started agricultural practices. A shift from nomadic lifestyle to settled living was also witnessed due to domestication.
The first ever animal to be domesticated by humans was a goat which was soon followed by sheep and later came the domestication of cattles. Goats, sheeps and cattles proved to be of huge help to the humans. While cattles only fulfilled the need of providing milk, goats and sheeps did more than just provide milk. Goats and sheeps provided milk, meat and hide. Even Though cattles were just as useful as goats and sheeps if not more , still goats and sheeps were more preferred for domestication. The reason behind this was that sheeps and goats can easily survive in dry and cold weather, while cattles cannot survive in dry and cold weather. Sheeps and goats have thick fur on their skin that protects them from heat and cold , this is something cattles do not have, hence their survival in dry, hilly regions is not possible.

Hence, the correct answer is option (A).

Note:Sheeps goats and cattle, all come in the same category of ruminants. They spend a major part of their time grazing and then ruminating , a digestive process, in which the food is stored in a chamber in the stomach and then the same food is re-chewed.
