Hint: If we look closely at the definition of fossil fuel, we can easily recognise that apart from fossil fuels, there are many by-products of various substances.Using that we can answer the question correctly.

Complete answer:
There are many fuels that are formed by a natural process, for example, the anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms, such fuels are called fossil fuels. Also, the fossil fuels that are produced from such dead organisms have an age of about millions of years and in any case, they have an age of about 650 million years.
Coal gas is formed by a mixture of various gases like methane, hydrogen, volatile hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide which are produced after destructive distillation of coal. Coke, on the other hand, is a solid fuel that is made by driving a volatile substance by heating coal in the absence of air. So both coal gas and coke are not fossil fuel but a by-product of coal.
When we talk about producer gas, it is a low-grade fuel gas consisting largely of carbon monoxide and nitrogen which are formed by passing air or red hot carbon, or steam and air.So producer gas is a fossil fuel. Therefore, the correct answer to the question is false. As coke and coal gas are not a fossil fuel.

Hence, the correct answer is option B.

Note:Apart from the study of fossil fuel, there are lots of disadvantages of fossil fuel too and some of them are land degradation, water pollution (a very notable disadvantage) and emission of harmful air.
