Hint: Discrimination is an immoral act of making unjustified differences between human beings. These distinctions can be based on the social groups, classes, or other sections to which they are distinguished to belong.

Complete answer: Some people face discrimination on more than one ground which is to say that they might be poor and also belong to a group whose culture is not valued in the society. People around the globe have been discriminated against on the basis of race, religion, gender, age, class, sexual orientation, as well as other kinds of divisions. Discrimination especially occurs when people or groups are unjustly treated in a way which does not rhyme with how other people are treated in the same society. People are judged on the basis of their actual or perceived membership in definite groups or social sections. It means restricting members of a certain group from various opportunities or privileges that may be available to members of another group. The burden rises when a person is distinguished, not just one ground. Example Dalit women will face more consequences than women from the upper caste. There are discriminatory traditions, policies, ideas, practices and laws that exist in many countries and in almost all parts of the world. In some nations like India, attempts are made through reservations and quotas to uplift the community that has been historically discriminated against.

Note: Discrimination stems from stereotypes which might have been passed down historically. People believe something to be true for a community can hence do not look beyond that. They are constantly perceived in that manner.
