Hint: As we had to solve the expression which contains multiple mathematical operations. So we will use the BODMAS rule which will make it easy to solve the expression. As the rule states the priority order of mathematical operations.
Complete step by step answer:
Moving ahead with the question in stepwise manner;
In order to solve the expression containing multiple operations, we know that we cans solve it easily through BOSMAS rule. According to rule there is priority order of solving the multiple mathematical operations in single expression. According to rule priority order is first to solve the values which are in the bracket, then the exponential one, after it division followed by multiplication, addition and in last subtraction.
Applying the rule in the question, we have three mathematical operations in our expression$1+10+100\times 1000-1111$that are$+,-,$and$\times $. So according to the priority order of the BODMAS rule, first we will solve the multiplication, then addition which is further followed by subtraction.
So in expression as we can see that there is multiplication between 100 and 1000, so first multiply them, which will be;
$\begin{align}
& 1+10+100\times 1000-1111 \\
& 1+10+100000-1111 \\
\end{align}$
After this we are left with the mathematical operation of addition and subtraction, so according to BODMAS rule of priority addition will come, as addition is between the number 1, 10 and 100000, so add them directly, which will give;
$\begin{align}
& 1+10+100000-1111 \\
& 100011-1111 \\
\end{align}$
Now the expression is simply left out with subtraction, so we can subtract them directly, which will give us;
$\begin{align}
& 100011-1111 \\
& 98900 \\
\end{align}$
So we got $98900$.
So, the correct answer is “Option A”.
Note: BODMAS is the only rule which helps us in solving any expression or equation which contains the multiple mathematical operations, as it sets the priority order of solving the expressions or equations.
