Now, as per the BODMAS rule, we have to check first priority that is- bracket of division but in the given expression we don’t have it so next check for the second priority that is -multiplication, now we can note that multiplication sign is there in the given expression so first we have to evaluate the numbers associated with multiplication sign so let us rewrite the given expression as follows:
\[ \Rightarrow 16 - 8 + (4 \times 2) + 8\]
Simplifying only multiplication we get:
\[ \Rightarrow 16 - 8 + 8 + 8\]
Now as per the rule next priority should be given for addition, so in the above expression we have addition sign so let us rewrite the given expression to simplify numbers which has addition sign in between as follows:
