Now, first we have to remove the brackets given in the question. So we will write the terms without brackets. We write the terms as it is because there is an additional sign given between two brackets. Then we will get
$\Rightarrow 5x+3y+8x-7y$
Now, grouping the like terms together we will get
$\Rightarrow 5x+8x+3y-7y$
Now, simplifying the above obtained equation we will get
$\Rightarrow 13x-4y$
