Hint:Few sentences are given in this form of questions. They're getting jumbled up. The candidate is expected to correctly rearrange these sentences and then answer the questions asked in relation to the order of the sentences. Example: Which of the second sentences should be the next one?

Complete answer:
Sentence rearrangement is one of the complex and time-consuming parts of the question posed in banking exams and other competitive exams. It consists of a group of jumbled phrases that have to be reassembled in order to make sense. This sounds straightforward, but when more than one sentence seems to suit perfectly, it can get difficult. This is where we need to use vocabulary and meaning to evaluate the closest response.

Since the first sentence is about the Booker prize, the second sentence should be about its source. Option C is, therefore, right. The remaining alternatives do not apply to their source, so these are incorrect.

Hence the correct answer is option ‘C’.

Note:Try to understand the passage, if you can make out the meaning behind the passage, you will definitely get the correct order. Create a pair of two sentences, i.e. if 6 sentences, then create 3 pairs each having 2 sentences.
Try to find out clues while making a pair, most of the time there are some connecting words that form a bridge between two sentences.

Once you identify the pairs, all you need to do is to reorder these pairs to form a meaningful passage.
Try to find out the pair that looks independent and place it as an introduction, the pair that looks like a result as last.

Go through the arrangement and check the logical meaning of the pair and see if it conveys a meaning flow. If you think the sequence lacks logic, rearrange again till you start seeing some logic.
