Hint: Compare the different atmospheric conditions like temperature, pressure, availability of oxygen, etc on the surface of the Earth and at the high depths of the sea. Hence, give the uses of the special protective suits for the sea divers at the greater depths of the sea.

Complete answer:
The humans are used to the atmospheric conditions on the surface of the Earth which are a way different compared with the atmospheric conditions underwater in the sea.The pressure acting on the humans on the surface of the Earth is equal to the atmospheric pressure. But the pressure acting on the sea divers goes on increasing as the diver goes deep in the sea.

The humans are not usable of this high pressure and this large amount of pressure can injure the divers if the special protective suit is not used by them. Also the temperature of the water is different at different depths of the sea. In order to withstand this varying temperature, the special protective suits are used by divers.

The humans breathe oxygen from air on the surface of the Earth. But at the higher depths of the sea, there are various gases in the water along with oxygen. So, the divers have to carry their own oxygen supply during the sea diving which is provided in the special protective suits.

Hence, sea divers use special protective suits to withstand the different atmospheric conditions in the sea for a longer time.

Note: If one is asked the reason for using the special protective suits by the skydivers at a very high altitude from the surface of the Earth, the same reasons can be given. The only difference that should be mentioned is that the pressure at the large altitudes from the surface of the Earth is very low and the pressure at the low depths of the sea is very high.
