Hint: Sambhar Lake has a distinction of being a Ramsar Site and water is supplied to this inland lake by streams from the Medhta, Roopangarh, Khandela, and Karian rivers. It has a large ecological as well as economical importance for the country.

Complete Answer:
A. Irrigation: It is a process of giving water to the plants in a controlled manner at the specific interval of time. Irrigation is used for watering crops in arid places and during water shortage due to low rainfall in the area. It is also used in cooling livestock, dust suppression, disposal of sewage etc. Irrigation water is moderately saline, but if it contains a high concentration of specific ions it damages the crop. So over salinity can affect the crop and thus water of this lake is not used for this purpose.

B. Producing electricity: is the process of generating electricity from a source of primary energy. Electricity is produced in power stations. Electricity can be produced by these means such as nuclear fission (heat engines), through the kinetic energy of flowing water and wind and other sources like geothermal powers etc. Lakes have static water thus it can’t create kinetic energy and can't be used in electricity generations.

C. Navigation: is all about locating the movement of any craft or vehicle from one place to another. Generally, it is of these following types: land navigation, marine navigation, aeronautical navigation, and space navigation. Navigation can be used in great lakes; it's not for the small lakes where there is no movement of any vehicle or craft in it. Sambhar lake doesn't have such a navigation system.

D. Producing salt: It is the process of extracting salt by the process of evaporation from the saline water in a large amount. It can be obtained from two main sources by sea or lake water and sodium chloride mineral halite (rock salt ). Rock salt is the result of dying up in enclosed lakes, seas etc. Sambhar Lake is used for salt production and produces 210000 tonnes of salt each year. Extract salt from evaporation ponds with water having a certain concentration.

So, the correct answer is option.
