A. Irrigation: It is a process of giving water to the plants in a controlled manner at the specific interval of time. Irrigation is used for watering crops in arid places and during water shortage due to low rainfall in the area. It is also used in cooling livestock, dust suppression, disposal of sewage etc. Irrigation water is moderately saline, but if it contains a high concentration of specific ions it damages the crop. So over salinity can affect the crop and thus water of this lake is not used for this purpose.

B. Producing electricity: is the process of generating electricity from a source of primary energy. Electricity is produced in power stations.
