Hint: A woman gets pregnant when a man's sperm reaches one of the women’s eggs The method to prevent pregnancy in women can be done using birth control pills.

Complete Answer:
- Pregnancy can be prevented by the method of contraception. It keeps the eggs and sperms away from each other. It also stops the production of eggs in women. Finally, it helps to stop the fertilised eggs from getting attached to the lining of the mother’s womb. There are various methods of contraception. One among them is contraceptive pills, which is mostly used by many women.

- Saheli is the first and only oral non-steroidal contraceptive pill in the world. It does not have any side effects since it does not contain any steroids. Saheli consists of ormeloxifene, which is also known as centchroman. It blocks estrogen receptors in the uterus. Hence prevents eggs from getting implanted on the womb lining of the women.

- The sterilisation procedure done on a man is known as vasectomy. It is a surgical procedure done to cut or seal the tubes which carry the sperm of a man. This prevents pregnancy permanently. Once this is done, when a man ejaculates, the semen will not have any sperm in it and so the eggs cannot be fertilised.

- Female sterilisation is done on women to block the fallopian tubes. This surgical procedure prevents an egg from entering the uterus. So the sperm cannot reach the egg, hence prevents the pregnancy.

Note: Every female have two sex hormones namely estrogen and progestin. When they both are combined together prevent ovulation, hence the pregnancy is avoided.
