- As we know that as there is increase in the temperature then there is increase in the reaction rates this is because of the increase in the number of high energy collisions between the molecules. Temperature is basically a measure of the average kinetic energy of the molecules that are in motion.
- It is found that if the temperature is raised then the kinetic energies of all reactants are increased, then there are more collisions per second. And the greater fraction of these leads to the chemical reaction.
- Hence, according to the Arrhenius equation, the rate of reaction will increase with increase in temperature.
