Hint:Doab is a term used in South Asia, and Doab also results in the formation of a big river. An example can be the Ganga-Yamuna doab.

Complete answer:In South Asia, a piece of land lying between two confluencing rivers is called a Doab. It is similar to an interfluve. The Oxford dictionary defines it as a region lying between and reaching to the confluence of two rivers especially Ganga and Yamuna. An example of Doab is the flat alluvial tract of land between the river Ganges and the Yamuna extending from the Shivalik Hills to their confluence at Allahabad. The region has an area around 23,360 square miles. It is approximately 500 miles in length and 60 miles in width.
The Doab was divided into three administrative districts by the British:
1.Upper Doab:
Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzzafarnagar, Gautam Budh Nagar and Bulandshahr.
2. Central Doab:
Etah,Kasganj, Aligarh, Agra, Hathras, Firozabad, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Auraiya and Mathura.
3.Lower Doabs:
Kanpur, Fatehpur, Kaushambi and Allahabad.
The Punjab Doabs:
The multiple pieces of land between the confluent rivers lying in the Punjab region of Pakistan and India have different names believed to be coined by Raja Todar Mal, a minister of the Mughal emperor. The names are Jech Doabs, Bari Doabs, Bist Doabs.
There is a region of Doab created by the rivers flowing through the Malwa region and covering the present day states of Madhya Pradesh and some parts of north-eastern Rajasthan. This doab is divided into two regions called the Upper Malwa Doab and the Lower Malwa Doab.

Thus, option c is the correct choice.

Note:The Doab regions in India are known to be extremely fertile and densely populated. The origin of the word is Persian, where Do means two and Ab means water.
