Hint: The prostate glands are small-sized male reproductive organs which are situated underneath the seminal vesicle. The prostate gland secretes an alkaline fluid which nurtures and defends sperm. The prostate is situated in front of the rectum.

Complete Answer:
- The prostate is an important and vital part of the male reproductive system, which comprises the penis, prostate glands, testicles and seminal vesicles. The urethra (the tubular part that vacant the urine from the bladder) is mainly surrounded by the prostate. The prostate mainly secretes zinc, proteolytic enzymes, fibrinolysin, prostatic acid phosphatase, , and prostate-specific antigens.
- The fluid part of the semen is mainly formed with a combination of prostate secretions and the secretions from seminal vesicles. Also, the muscles present in the prostate make sure that the semen is convincingly pushed into the urethral chamber and then released outside during ejaculation.
- The gubernaculum gets attached with the uterus and develops into the ovarian ligaments and the surrounding ligaments of the uterus. Bulbourethral glands are also termed as Cowper's gland.
- They are found in the male reproductive system as two pea-shaped glands and are positioned below the prostate gland at the starting part of the interior segments of the penis.

The correct answer is B.

Note: These glands play a crucial role in adding fluids to the semen during ejaculation. The epididymis is an elongated, twisted tube which holds on the rear side of each testicle. The major function of epididymis is to carry and store the sperm cells which are formed in the testes.
