Hint:-The group of cells that comprise similar origin and responsible to do some certain function and result in The formation of body organs is known as tissue. Based on cell division Plant tissues are classified into two types. These are Meristematic tissue and Permanent tissue. There are three divisions are found inMeristematic tissue, named Apical meristem, Lateral meristem and Intercalary meristem. Permanent Tissues have three divisions, named simple permanent tissues, complex permanent tissues and secretory tissues. Simple permanent tissues are three types of, named Parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma.
Complete step-by-step solution:-
A.Chlorenchyma is a type of Parenchyma tissue which comprises the mesophyll tissue in the plant.
In some plants, chlorenchyma is also located in the stem. It is responsible for containing the photosynthetic pigment called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is used in the photosynthesis of the
plant.
B. Collenchyma is a type of permanent tissue that is located in the leaves and stems of the plant. It
is responsible for giving structural support to the plants. Collenchyma is four types of, namely
tangential collenchyma, angular collenchyma annular collenchyma and lacunar collenchyma.
C. Prosenchyma is a type of parenchyma tissue which is composed of elongated cells. It has a thick
cell wall that comprises lignin. Prosenchyma is responsible for making the plant more rigid.
Prosenchyma is also known as a transfer cell.
D. Sclerenchyma comprises a secondary wall which is made up of lignin. The main structural
support is provided by the sclerenchyma. There are two types of sclerenchyma is found namely
sclereids and fibres cellular sclerenchyma.
Note:-
Prosenchyma does not possess much protoplasm. Prosenchyma involves in the storage of food in
form of starch. Prosenchyma comprises pointed tapered ends. Prosenchyma is found in some specific
species of plant, for example, Bougainvillea sp. Prosenchyma is also found in fungal tissue that is
responsible for carrying hyphae.
