Good morning to each one of you present here. On this occasion of children’s day it is essential to note that it is celebrated on the birthday day of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. His love for children and roses was a well known fact. He would often compare a child with that of a rose bud. He used to emphasize that the children must be nurtured lovingly just like how a rose is nurtured as children as the future leaders of the country. Nurturing includes a good education and health care so that they grow up to be a good and responsible citizen. Before we live this world it is our responsibility to make sure that we hand our nation and at large our world into safe hands. Any sort of ignorance in the aspect of their nurturing may cause a huge threat to the nation as a whole. Nurturing children is not only in the responsibility of their parents but the teachers, global leaders to whom they see up to, our society etc have a crucial role to play in the life of a child. Therefore, we must set an example to our future generation by walking on the right path.
