Hint: We can describe this type of situation by seeing the left and right hand side. Through this we can tell about the direction of current flow and about the polarity of the capacitor as mentioned in the figure named as A and B. To solve this question we have to know about the characteristic of the capacitor.
Complete answer:
According to the diagram which is given in the question, their induced current is in an anti-clockwise direction when we see from the left hand side and its direction is clockwise when we see from the right hand side. So, we can say the direction of induced current is in a clockwise sense. It means that plate A of the capacitor is at the higher potential than plate B in simple words, B will be negative plate while A will be positive plate. In other words we can say a plate will become positive w.r.t. B as current induced is in a clockwise direction.
Additional information:
$\bullet$ A capacitor is nothing but a passive electronic component which is stored energy in the form of an electrostatic field. For better understanding we can say like a capacitor consists of two conducting plates separated by an insulating material known as dielectric.
$\bullet$ A bar magnet is a rectangular piece of an object as shown in the figure. which is made up of iron, steel and any other ferromagnetic substance or ferromagnetic composite which similarly shows permanent magnetic properties.
Note:
sometimes for this question may include options so we have to clearly understand the question first. And observe clearly the given diagram where the north and south pole of the bar magnet is shown and the position of the capacitor must be observed carefully.
