Hint: Unipinnate is a sub type of compound leaves in which petiole is extended and forms rachis on this rachis number of leaves arises at both sides, some time leaves are in equal number and unequal numbers. Neem is the example of the Unipinnate imparipinnate type of leaf.
Complete answer:
On the bases of lamina, leaves are of two types named as simple leaf and compound leaf. In simple leaves have a single undivided lamina and the lobes of the leaf may be arranged entirely pinnate eg;- brassica or palmately :- Ricinus.
In case of compound leaf, the leaf lamina or leaf blade is completely divided into many segments or units called pinnae and such pinnae attached to the rachis. It is further divided into pinnate compound leaves and palmately compound leaves.
Pinnate compound leaf is further subdivided into 5 type of pinnate compound leaf and they named as, Unipinnate paripinnate :- in this type leaf is divided once in pinnate fashion and equal number of leaflet are present on rachis, example- Murraya.
Unipinnate imparipinnate: in this type leaf is divided once but distributed on rachis is unequally. Eg- Neem.
Bipinnate: In this type Pinnate leaf is divided twice pinnately, example- Kikar plant.
Tripinnate:- In this type leaf is thrice pinnate, that means leaf are attached to tertiary rachis. Example- Moringa.
Decompound: In this type rachis is divided more than thrice it cannot be distinguished. Example- carrot.
* Trifolium is the genus of clover or trefoil, the leaf of such plants are trifoliate which situated in the pinnate compound form, in which petiole is prolonged beyond the origin of two lateral leaves and holds two terminal leaves.
Hence the correct option is Neem.
Note: All three type leaf shapes situated in pinnate compound leaf, only unipinnate imparipinnate compound leaf is found in neem plant, while others show different leaf shape and structure. unipinnate imparipinnate and unipinnate and paripinnate both are the sub group of pinnate compound leaf.
