-The people living in forests use a variety of products ranging from leaves, fruits, roots, tubers. The forest people consume fruits and tubers as they are nutritious to eat generally during the rainy season before the arrival of harvest. Herbs are used as medicines by the forest people.
-For agricultural implements like yokes and ploughs, woods are used. For making fences, forest people used bamboo as bamboo lasts a long as compared to others. Bamboos are also used to make umbrellas and baskets.
-As a portable water bottle, a dried scooped out gourd is used. Leaves are stitched together which are used as cups and disposable plates. To make ropes, creepers are used. To grate vegetables, the thorny bark of the semur or silk-cotton trees is used. The fruits of the mahua tree are used to extract oil which acts as a cooking oil and to light lamps.
