Hint: Oxysomes are basically the structure present inside the cristae of mitochondria.

Complete Answer:
- Oxysomes also known as ${f_0} - {f_1}$particles. They are present on the cristae of mitochondria. The matrix side of the inner membrane and cristae bear numerous tennis rackets like particles called oxysomes.
- They are also known as elementary particles, Paauson’s particle, Fernandez – Moran particle, ${f_0} - {f_1}$-ATpase, ${H_{ + - }}$Atpase, ATP synthesized or ATP synthase.
- Mitochondria contain about 104-105 oxysomes, regularly placed at the intervals of 10nm. Oxysomes are regularly placed at the intervals of 10 nm.
- Oxysomes comprise about 155 of the total inner membrane protein. Each oxysome is a multi- polypeptide complex consisting of 3 parts.

They are
1) Headpiece or ${f_1}$ particle or soluble Atpase.
2) Base or ${f_0}$ subunit.
3) A stalk that connects ${f_1}$ particle with ${f_0}$ subunit.

- The ATP synthesis is an enzyme that creates the energy storage molecule adenosine triphosphate. These are the organelles in animals and plant cells in which oxidative phosphorylation takes place.
- The movement of most charged metabolites into the matrix space is mediated by special carrier proteins in the cristae that catalyze exchange diffusion. All this process happens in the oxysomes which are present on the cristae of mitochondria.
- From the above explanation, we can conclude that Oxysomes are present on the inner membrane of mitochondria.

Therefore, the answer is (C) Inner membrane of mitochondria.

Note: The space within the inner membrane of the mitochondria is known as the matrix which contains the enzymes by the Krebs and fatty- acid cycles.
