Hint: He was the king of the United Kingdom and the Emperor of India from 1910 to 1936.
He was the grandson of Alexandrina Victoria who was the Queen of the United Kingdom for 63 years since 1837.

Complete answer:
The Round Table Conferences were three ‘peace conferences’ conducted by the British Government and the Indian leaders to discuss independence and constitutional reform in India. They were organized as per Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s recommendation to Lord Irwin who was the Viceroy and Ramsay McDonald who was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
There were three Round Table Conferences; 1st from November 1930 to January 1931, 2nd from September 1931 to December 1931 and 3rd from November 1932 to December 1932.
The first Round Table Conference was opened or inaugurated by King George V. It took place on 12 November 1930 at the Royal Gallery House of Lords in London.
There were 16 delegates from the British political parties. There were a total of 74 delegates from India (58 political leaders from the British India and 16 delegates from princely states) who attended the conference. The Muslim League was also present at the conference, but the Indian National Congress was not. This was because many leaders of the Congress were in jail due to their participation in the Civil Disobedience Movement.

Hence, the correct option is (Option A).

Note:Mahatma Gandhi refused to attend the conference, and hence the Viceroy of India, Lord Irwin arrested him and sent him to prison.
Mahatma Gandhi and the Viceroy with his Council, wanted the Civil Disobedience Movement to end peacefully.
All these events were soon settled when they both signed the Gandhi-Irwin Pact of 1931.
