It is clear from the difference table that the particles of solid show least random motion while particles of gas have highest degree of random motion and we know that kinetic energy is the energy of an object performing random motion that means higher the motion of particles, greater will be the energy.
So, in reference to this we can say that the solids will have the least amount of kinetic energy because the particles inside a solid are very tightly packed due to strong intermolecular forces existing between the particles and due to this, the particles are not available for doing random motion.
