Hint: First we have to define what the terms we need to solve the problem are.
Since there are several observations of sales of the shirts are given in that bar diagram, and that shirts are readymade for the sales in the garment. Since all the sales will be happening only on the days between Monday to Saturday that means no sale for Sunday. And the bar shows the different sales trade list as above.
Complete step-by-step solution:
The given question is to find the maximum number of shirts sold on a particular day and also, we have to find the total number of shirts sold on that day. Starting with Monday sales, on Monday there are a total of fifteen shirts sold as we have seen in the bar diagram, and for Tuesday we have only ten shirts sold.
But for Wednesday we have more than twenty shirts are sold compared to the previous day,
Similarly, for Thursday we have a total of thirty-five shirts sold which is the highest sold till now, but on Friday there are fifty shirts sold, finally on the last day that is Saturday we have sixty shirts sold.
Hence the maximum number of shirts sold in one day is sixty and that day will be Saturday.
Note: Since the sales are in increasing format if there exists the day Sunday maybe that too comes with the big sales more than Saturday, in the bar diagram the left given things are days and below-given things about the number of shirts.
We are also able to simply answer the given question by just observing the given bar diagram.
