Hint: Neural canal is located at the dorsal side of the centrum formed by neural arches of vertebrae. The neural canal is a cavity or system of cavities in the vertebrae embryo which forms the ventricles of the brain and central canal of the spinal cord. The neural canal is broad but shallow, and the neural arch is placed posteriorly. The neuronal network associated with the neural canal is more pervasive along the anterior border of the canal.

Complete step by step answer:
The bony neural canal that surrounds the spinal cord serves to support and protect it in the same way that the braincase supports and protects the brain. The outermost layer of the meninges, the dura mater, is closely associated with the arachnoid mater which in turn is loosely connected to the innermost layer, the pia mater. The meninges divide the spinal canal into the epidural space and the subarachnoid space. The pia mater is closely attached to the spinal cord. A subdural space is generally only present due to trauma and/or pathological situations. The subarachnoid space is filled with cerebrospinal fluid and contains the vessels that supply the spinal cord, namely the anterior spinal artery and the paired posterior spinal arteries, accompanied by corresponding spinal veins. The anterior and posterior spinal arteries form anastomoses known as the vasocorona of the spinal cord and these supply nutrients to the canal. The epidural space contains loose fatty tissue, and a network of large, thin- walled blood vessels called the internal vertebral venous plexuses. The vertebral canal, otherwise known as the vertebral cavity or spinal cavity, is an anatomical space formed by the vertebral column that stores an integral portion of the central nervous system: the spinal cord and the spinal nerve roots branching off the spinal cord bilaterally.
So, the correct answer is '(c) Spinal cord'.

Additional Information:
- Spinal stenosis is a disorder that is caused by a narrowing of the spinal canal.
- This narrowing happens as a result of the degeneration of both the facet joints and the intervertebral discs. In this condition, bone spurs (also called osteophytes) grow into the spinal canal.
- The facet joints also enlarge as they become arthritic, which contributes to a decrease in the space available for the nerve roots. This condition is known as facet arthropathy.

Note:
- The central canal, also known as the ependymal canal, is the cerebrospinal fluid- filled space that runs through the spinal cord.
- The central canal below the ventricular system of the brain, from which it receives cerebrospinal fluid, and shares the same ependymal lining.
- The central canal helps to transport nutrients to the spinal cord as well as protect it by cushioning the impact of a force when the spine is affected.
- The central canal represents the adult remainder of the central cavity of the neural tube.
