Hint: With the increasing population, large numbers of forests are being cut. This leads to the loss of habitat and wildlife that lives in and depends on these forests. Besides this, illegal trafficking of parts of animals also contributes to the extinction of many species of animals. Hence, there is a need to conserve these animals to prevent them from extinction. Wildlife sanctuaries play a major role in the protection of wildlife.

Complete answer
Located in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, it is the best place for the introduction of Cheetahs in the forests. As the forests of the sanctuary are not very dense, it does not provide any barrier to the movement of cheetahs in the sanctuary. In addition, the forests consist of a huge prey base for the cheetahs. Hence, NTCA has announced the introduction of African cheetahs in the sanctuary.
In terms of area, Nauradehi wildlife sanctuary is the largest wildlife sanctuary of Madhya Pradesh. It covers the Sagar, Damoh, Raisin and Narsinghpur districts of Madhya Pradesh. The area is also extended to the basins of Narmada and Ganga River. Out of the total area, three-fourth of the area is located in the Yamuna basin (which is a tributary of Ganga) and one-third is located in the Narmada basin.
The sanctuary consists of tropical dry deciduous forests such as sal, teak, mahua etc. The reptiles found in the sanctuary include turtles, tortoises, snakes etc. Various species of birds are also found due to the presence of many perennial rivers. It includes spotted owl, king vulture, open-billed storks and many others.

Thus the answer of the above question is option (A) Madhya Pradesh.

Note: NTCA or national tiger conservation authority is a statutory body established under the wildlife (protection) act, 1972. It came into existence in 2005 on the recommendations of the tiger task force. Its main function is to strengthen the population of tigers.
