Hint: This tube runs from the middle ear to the back of the nose and throat. Most of the time this tube is closed, opening only during activities such as yawning, swallowing, and chewing, which is to allow air through the passage between the middle ear and nasopharynx.

Complete answer:
The canal which connects the ear ( middle ear ) to the nasopharynx, which consists of the upper throat and the back of the nasal cavity is called the eustachian tube. The eustachian tube controls the pressure within the middle ear, and it makes equal with the air pressure outside the body. Thus this tube helps the ears to drain fluids.
-Mullerian: the pair of embryonic ducts parallel to the Wolffian ducts and giving rise in the female to the fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, and upper portion of the vagina.
-Wolffian duct: these are present in males. Wolffian ducts give off a lateral branch forming the ureteric bud.
-Fallopian tube: tubes that stretch from the uterus to the ovaries and are part of the female reproductive system.
-Eustachian tube: the canal that links the middle ear with the back of the nose is the eustachian tube. The tube that helps to equalize the pressure in the middle ear. This pressure allows for the proper transfer of sound waves. The Eustachian tube is lined with mucous, just like the inside of the nose and throat.

Note: When atmospheric changes rapidly, causing a sudden feeling of blockage in the ear ( such as during airplane travel ) this process of blockage can be done on purpose to open the tube and it equalizes the pressure within the middle ear to maintain the pressure. pharyngotympanic tube or the auditory tube are the other names for eustachian tube.
