Hint: The voice box is an organ in the upper part of the neck that plays a role in breathing, makes the sound, and prevents the food from being sucked out of food. In adults, the soundbox is located in the front of the neck at the level of the C three and C six vertebrae. It connects the lower part of the pharynx (hypopharynx) to the pharynx.

Complete answer:
The larynx also is known as the sound box is the part of the airway that contains the vocal cords that make a sound. Located between the pharynx and pharynx.
There are slight differences in the size of the larynx between males and females during puberty. Then it is called Adam's apple in man because it becomes larger and becomes visible to people.
The vocal cord passes through the larynx. These are two pairs of mucosal folds that extend laterally to the larynx. The upper pair is called the false vocal cord, and the lower pair is called the original vocal cord. The vocal cords vibrate more slowly because men are usually thicker and longer than women. Because of this, men are usually shorter than women. The vocal cords are composed of yellow elastic tissue covered with non-plastic lamellar squamous epithelium. The glottis is the space between the vocal cords that communicate with the larynx of the stomach.
Voice Generation: Sound is generated from true vocal cords. When exhaled air passes through the vocal cords under pressure from the lungs, the vocal cords adapt to the vibrations that produce sound. The pitch is determined by the tension of the vocal cords. The sound quality depends on the resonator above the larynx: pharynx, mouth, and sinuses. Its quality is controlled by the muscles of the palate, tongue, floor of the mouth, cheeks, lips, and jaw.

Note:
Following types of cartilage present in the larynx.
Unpaired cartilage:
> Thyroid cartilage: forms Adam's apple. Men are larger than women. The thyroid membrane is a ligament attached to the thyroid cartilage that connects the thyroid cartilage to the hyoid bone.
> Cricoid cartilage: A ring of free cartilage that forms the lower wall of the larynx.
> Epiglottis: A large, spoon-shaped piece of elastic cartilage. When swallowed, the pharynx and larynx are raised.
Paired cartilage:
> Arytenoid cartilages: Among paired cartilages, cartilaginous cartilage is the most important as it affects the position and tension of the vocal cords. This is a triangle.
> Corniculate cartilages: A piece of elastic, keratinized cartilage overlying each arytenoid cartilage.
> Cuneiform cartilage Elastic, stick-shaped cartilage in front of the corneal cartilage.
