A. Epithelial tissue is found as a lining on any surface of our body organs. (Epi means upon and thelia means to grow). Epithelial tissue is modified according to many functions. Mainly epithelial tissue can be simple or compound epithelial tissue. In the lining of our mouth stratified squamous epithelium is found.

B. Connective tissue is found in different parts of our body. The tissue that connects muscle to bones is called the tendon. Tendon is a white fibrous connective tissue that connects muscles and bones. This is a cord-like structure in which collagen bundles and muscle fibers are found. This cord is surrounded by a sheath.
C. Phloem tissue is the transport tissue in plants. In plants, two types of transport tissues are found that are xylem and phloem. Xylem tissue transports water and minerals.
