Hint: Noun is a naming word. It is a word that refers to any name, place, thing, feeling, animal or abstract idea. There are 7 main types of nouns are Common nouns, Proper nouns, Concrete nouns, Abstract nouns, Collective nouns, Count and mass nouns.

Complete answer:
Both, ‘Proper nouns’ as well as ‘pronouns’ are associated with nouns. Therefore first, let us understand the meaning of both the terms -

Proper Nouns - These nouns are specific names for any person, place, animal or thing. The first alphabet of such words is always written in Capital even if they come in the middle or at the end of the sentence. Sometimes these nouns take the determiner ‘the’. ‘The’ is usually used in the case of countries that have States/Kingdom/Republic in their name, name of river/seas/oceans, plural of people’s name/places’ name etc. However, not every proper noun will make use of the determiner ‘ the’.

Pronouns - These words are used in place of nouns and noun phrases. When we write about a noun in a paragraph then, we do not keep repeating the name of that noun again and again. Instead, we use a pronoun in its place. For e.g. If we write, ‘Rita is a good girl.’, then, in the next sentence we can replace Rita (noun) with she(pronoun) and write‘ She is very good in studies as well as sports.’They can also form the subject part of the noun.

The difference between proper nouns and pronouns is that a proper noun is a type of noun while pronouns are the words that are used in place of a noun. The first alphabet of proper nouns is always capitalized irrespective of their placement in a sentence. In pronouns, the first alphabet is capitalized only if the pronoun appears at the beginning of a sentence.
E.g. of proper nouns - The United States of America, The Indian Ocean, India
E.g. of pronouns - He, She, It, They

Note: Pronouns show possession as well. They can be used in place of proper nouns as well as other types of nouns. There are various types of pronouns such as relative, reflexive, demonstrative etc. However, a proper noun is itself a sub-part of a noun.
