Hint: Here, we have to read and gather all the given information and note it in a proper manner. After noting all the information we will combine all the details in the required manner i.e. arrangement the people according to their increasing height. So then we will be easily able to determine the person who is exactly in the middle.
Complete step-by-step answer:
Firstly we will note down all the information given in the question
It is given that Mahesh is taller than Suresh. So, we can write it in the form of \[{\rm{Mahesh}} > {\rm{Suresh}}\]……(1).
Similarly, we will write the other given information in this from.
We know that Sanyog is taller than the Mahesh, so we can write
\[{\rm{Sanyog}} > {\rm{Mahesh}}\] ………(2)
We know that Ramesh is taller than the Sanyog , that means
\[{\rm{Ramesh}} > {\rm{Sanyog}}\] ………(3)
It is also given that Puneet is taller than everyone, so we can write
\[{\rm{Puneet > all}}\]………(4)
Now, we will combine all the equations i.e. (1), (2), (3), (4) to get the data in the required format.
\[{\rm{Puneet}} > {\rm{Ramesh}} > {\rm{Sanyog}} > {\rm{Mahesh}} > {\rm{Suresh}}\]
This above equation satisfies all the given information from the question and shows everyone according to their height where Puneet is the tallest and Suresh is the smallest.
As there are only 5 people so the third from the right or left will be in the middle. As the third from the right or left in the obtained arrangement is Sanyog stands in the middle.
Hence, Sanyog is present exactly in the middle when everyone stands according to their heights.
So, option B is correct.
Note: We have used a greater than symbol to show the taller two person. We use the symbols like \[ > \], \[ < \] and \[ = \] to note all the given information because it simplifies the data and makes data more understandable to us. If we write \[{\rm{Person1}} > {\rm{Person2}}\] which means Person1 is taller than Person2 or if we write \[{\rm{Person1 < Person2}}\] which means Person1 is smaller than Person2 or if we write \[{\rm{Person1 = Person2}}\] which means Person1 is of same height as Person2.
