Some carbonated soft drinks are Pepsi, coke, Fanta etc. Non-carbonated drinks do not have carbon dioxide in it. Some non-carbonated soft drinks are juices, nectar, and squashes. It makes the pH as low as three. This is added to prevent spoilage. Carbonation is the process of dissolving carbon dioxide in any liquid. Usually, it is added with a lot of pressure in Carbon dioxide which is the reason for the sparkling appearance of the soft drinks and it has a sour taste. Due to this pressure, when we open the soft drink bottle, the bubble oozes through the opening. Also when we open the carbonated soft drinks for some period of time, the drink tastes flat since all the carbon dioxide molecules have escaped.
