Guru Angad Dev Ji was the second guru in the lineage of ten gurus of Sikhism. He was a disciple of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. He adopted and formalized the Gurmukhi script. He is also credited for collecting the hymns of Guru Nanak which were later organized in the Adi Granth. He institutionalized the langar in the premises of all gurudwaras.
Shri Guru Ram Das Ji was the fourth Sikh guru. He was preceded by Shri Guru Amar Das Ji. He founded the holy city of Amritsar. He was a famous poet and his poems form about one-tenth of the Guru Granth Sahib.
