Hint: Krishnadevaraya was the emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire from 1509–1529. Considered to be one of the greatest rulers, he was the third ruler of the Tuluva dynasty. He wrote a few works including a few dramas. He was famous across his empire.

Complete answer:
Krishnadevaraya composed a drama in Sanskrit called Jambavati Kalyana based on the Jambavati, one of the eight principal queen-consorts of Lord Krishna. She was the only daughter of Jambavan who was the bear king. He had assisted Lord Ram in the battle against Ravana. She had no child of her own. Upon the insistence of Krishna, she prayed to Lord Shiva. He blessed them with a son called Samba. He grew up and married Lakshana, the daughter of Duryodhana.
Amuktamalyada is a Telugu epic poem dating back to the sixteenth century. The epic speaks of the story of the daughter of Periazhvar, Goda Devi, who used to wear the garlands intended for Lord Ranganatha before they were offered to the deity, and hence the name ‘AmuktaMalyaDa' which means ‘the one who wears and gives away garlands.’
Krishnadevaraya dedicated this work to Lord Venkateswara. It also speaks of Vishnu Chitta (Periazhvar) and the arguments he put forth in support of Vishishtadvaita and against other schools of philosophy. This is the reason why it came to be known as ‘Vishnuchitteeyamu.’
It narrates episodes relevant to Vaishnavism such as the story of Yamanucharya, the story of a demon in an argument with an untouchable Dasari, etc.
So, the correct answer is Option B.

Note: Krishnadevaraya had eight court poets (ashta diggajas). He was also a great poet and under his reign, Vijayanagara had a golden era. Inscriptions speak of him as ‘sahitee samarangana sarvabhauma, ’a monarch in the fields of war and literature. However, some doubts persist regarding the authorship of works attributed to him.
