Hint: Factories are usually not permitted in the residential areas, however; necessary construction works are allowed. Moreover, construction works can be of varying kinds like repairing and maintenance or making of public utility services.
Complete step by step answer: There is no factory in my area.
The following kinds of construction works are seen very often in my or any area. These are –
1. Construction of new homes and residential buildings: Several new homes and residential buildings are being made to accommodate people. These buildings vary in plans and spaces.
2. Construction of commercial buildings: Commercial buildings like schools, hospitals, shopping complexes, malls, etc. are usually being constructed to promote business and increase the best interest of people.
3. Repair and maintenance work in the older residential buildings: To ensure the long life of old buildings their regular repair and maintenance needs to be assured. Because the maintenance of the building will deteriorate and become unfit for residing. Thus, timely maintenance and repairing the damages ensures long life.
4. Construction of new roads and repairing of the older ones: New roads are being constructed continuously and old roads are being repaired to facilitate transportation.
Note: Factories are not found in or near residential areas. This is because during the construction works in factories several kinds of harmful emissions are made. These emissions are via air, water, or land. These emissions contain several kinds of toxic chemicals that can harm human health. Hence, the government does not permit factories and industries in residential areas usually.
