Hint: Indiscriminate use of any thing is generally not considered good for anything. Also the rays other than the visible rays are not good for skin if they are exposed to skin for a longer period of time as it may cause complications.

Complete answer:
We all know that X-rays are an important part of medical diagnostics and it helps in the clear determination of the problems inside the body if it is not visible clearly from the outside. Also, if there is any doubt of bone damage or breakdown of bone then X-rays is the only option which gives an exact image of the bone indicating the problem there. In X-ray, a beam of x-ray is projected on the area of which we need to inspect and an image is developed easily. The human skin is susceptible to any kind of radiation and only the visible rays are known to not cause any damage to the skin. The prolonged exposure to these rays can lead to severe complications like skin cancer.
Also the other modes of diagnostic practices like MRI, CT scan are also using higher frequency radiations and they may cause damage to the skins and other body organs also. In all the medical diagnostic techniques, they play a major role in diagnosis and getting to know about the disease in a very good manner. It also helps in reducing the errors and time of the people.

Note: Along with the indiscriminate use of the technical practices, the use of drugs and antibiotics on an indiscriminate basis is also not good for the health of the body as the increased use will lead to the resistance to the drug by the pathogens. After the resistance the pathogen will not be cured by the use of the same antibiotic.
