Complete Step by Step Answer:
India is situated in the Northern Hemisphere, which extends between 6 degrees 45’ N to 37 degrees 6’ N and 68 degrees 7’E to 97 degrees 25’E longitudes. India shares its boundaries with Nepal, Bhutan and China in the north, with Afghanistan and Pakistan in the northwest, with Myanmar and Bangladesh in the east. In the south, India is connected with Sri Lanka and the Maldives through the narrow sea strips- Gulf of Mannar and Palk Strait.
