The Indian Constitution embodies the positive concept of secularism, that is, all religions in our country (regardless of their religious strength) have the same status and state support, which provides little space for communism. Articles 14, 15 and 16 prohibit discrimination against any individual based on caste and society, and advocate equality before the law. Governments from time to time also set up various committees to propose solutions to the problem of community violence, such as the Sachar Committee, the Nanavati Committee and the Ranganath Mishra Committee.
