Hint: The Rani of Jhansi Regiment was the Women’s unit of the army which was also called Azad Hind Fauj, with Subash Chandra Bose as its leader.

Complete answer: Indian National Army was an armed national unit that was formed by the Indian freedom fighters, nationalists and the people of Japan in the year 1942 in southeastern India during the ongoing World War Ⅱ, whereas The Rani of Jhansi Regiment was the women’s unit of the Indian National Army which was led by Captain Lakshmi Sahgal, also known as Lakshmi Swaminathan. Rani Jhansi Regiment was founded in the year 1943 and consisted of volunteers from the emigrant Indians in South East Asia. The main objective of the Indian National Army was to free India from the shackles of British colonisation. The aim was to acquire Indian independence from British dominion. The INA army was formed in 1942 with Mohan Singh as its leader. The first INA army got dissolved in the same year due to disagreements between the Japanese army and Mohan Singh over military domination, after which the leadership was handed over to Subhash Chandra Bose. The INA was in a good position under the leadership of Netaji. The second INA army fought with the Japanese forces against British and Commonwealth powers in Burma.
The members of the INA were appreciated by the Congress but they were denied the status of freedom fighters by the Indian government, but still, the army remains a significant army in the Indian independence struggle.
Therefore, option B is the correct answer.

Note: With the recommendation of Lord Mountbatten and permission of Jawaharlal Nehru, the army troops of the Indian National Army were not allowed to join the Indian army thus causing its decline.
