Complete answer:
Unisexual flowers are flowers having either stamens or carpels.Flowers may be monoecious bearing both male and female flowers on the same plant or dioecious with male and female flowers borne on separate plants.
The technique of crossing different species and genera to combine desirable characters to produce commercially superior varieties is called artificial hybridisation. It is one of the major approaches in crop improvement. Pollen grains with desired characteristics are used for pollination and stigma is protected from contamination of unwanted pollen grains. This is achieved by emasculation and bagging.

>Emasculation: It is the practice of removing stamens or anthers of a bisexual flower without affecting the female reproductive part before the anther dehisces. To prevent the possibility of self pollination , anthers from the plants to be used as seed parents were removed even before the stigma was fully mature.
>Bagging: Emasculated flowers are covered with a bag made of butter paper. This prevents contamination of stigma from unwanted pollen grains. This process is called bagging. When the stigma of the bagged flowers matures, pollen grains with desired characters from flowers are dusted on the stigma and flowers are bagged again and fruits are allowed to develop.
>Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from anther to the stigma. In unisexual flowers there is no need of bagging and emasculation as they possess either male flower or the female flower.

Hence option ‘D’ is the correct answer.

Note:Emasculation and bagging are methods of artificial hybridisation to prevent interbreeding while pollination is a process of inter or intra-breeding.
